It is getting colder, Winter is waving at us and it is nearly Christmas. I am knitting handwarmers, just for me, cause I work at lot with my hands and I play the organ (often in a cold church) and so I am always suffering of cold hands. Some while ago I found a beautiful pattern in the magazine Landleven and the storie behind Labedissen, traditional hand- and armwarmers of a region in the Netherlands. 

The pattern is very easy to read, but so beautiful! I made it with very soft alpaca yarn in ocher. You can find the link here!
