My uncle has a farm with a couple of sheep. Last Saturday, they were shaved and he asked me if I could use their coat. I am learning to use a spinningwheel, but with already cleaned fibers... But the idea that I can make yarn to knit or crochet from the sheep of my family, well it is a dream come true!

At the moment I am washing the coat and so far so good (thanks to Instagram, Pinterest and Google for all the tips)... I do the washing by hand, using an old washing bowl from my grandmorher. She bought it in 1963...
